Description

This is a montage of scenes from the documentary film Mary Ellen Mark: The things she sees. It begins with a view from inside a car, at night, moving along a road through the forest. The next scene shows the Oregon coast, from the perspective of a moving vehicle. The road runs along the edge of a hill, and the ocean is visible on the right. Text overlaid reads, 'OREGON'. The scene then transitions with the imposition of an eye shape, reminiscent of a camera lens. Next is a black and white close-up of a woman's eyes, with the words 'Mary Ellen Mark' appearing below. This fades to black, and the year 1976 appears. The last scene shows the interior of what appears to be a hospital corridor. A woman is crouching on the floor by an open door. The scene has been treated for a vintage look, with a yellow-green border, and scratches and marks to the surface.
