Description

This black and white portrait by photographer Evan Klanfer captures a young Black teenager in New York holding a sticker-covered skateboard. The subject wears a light-colored long-sleeve shirt, trousers, and a cap, smiling directly toward the camera with wide eyes. Another partially visible individual is seated on the left in the background. The low-key lighting and grainy texture lend a candid, documentary quality to the street-level scene.
