Eric Nyquist, Illustrator, New York

Description

This dynamic digital illustration by New York illustrator Eric Nyquist depicts a massive, dark furry bear roaring intensely from the left side of the frame. Erupting from its wide-open mouth is a bright orange stream populated by fleeing people, a running wildlife ranger, birds, a burning ambulance vehicle, and various running figures. The bold composition utilizes thick black outlines, stark textural fur details, and a high-contrast palette of dark charcoal, vibrant orange, and red. The artistic style is graphic and energetic, emphasizing chaotic motion and surreal storytelling.
