Description

This dynamic sports photograph by Emily Maye captures a male athlete mid-air during a pole vault jump against an expansive clear sky. The athlete is angled horizontally over the vaulting pole, wearing dark athletic clothing with a visible harness or strap detail. One arm is extended downward while his legs are bent in motion, caught at the peak of the leap. The composition emphasizes clean lines against a minimalist backdrop, lit by bright natural sunlight that highlights the athletic form. The vertical framing isolates the action, focusing entirely on the physical intensity of the vault.
