Description

This illustrative work by New York-based illustrator Eleni Kalorkoti depicts a child sitting cross-legged on the floor underneath a row of classroom desks. The central figure wears a light-blue face mask and a yellow sweater while other seated students are visible only from the waist down at desks above. The composition employs a flat graphic aesthetic with strong shadow lines cast across a blue floor surface. Crepled paper and pencils rest on the white desk tops in the background.
