Tais Sirote, Photographer, London

Description

This striking still life photograph by Tais Sirote captures a cracked open eggshell resting on a dark, reflective surface, revealing a vibrant, glossy orange yolk at its center. A slender dark metal nail is driven vertically straight through the apex of the unruptured yolk, creating a stark visual juxtaposition. The background transitions smoothly from a soft grey gradient to a deep shadow, emphasizing the dramatic, precise lighting and glossy surface reflections. The careful composition highlights the smooth textures of the liquid yolk against the chalky interior of the shell.
