About

This black and white image captured by photographer Dustin Aksland in Los Angeles features a silhouetted figure driving an all-terrain vehicle along a hillside terrain. The composition is framed by a dense tree branch hanging from the upper border against a bright, reflective sky above the water. Rolling hills flank the coastal view, while heavy grain texture pervades the entire frame, giving it an atmospheric, vintage quality. The stark monochrome palette emphasizes high contrast between the dark foreground elements and the luminous light glinting off the water below.
