Douglas Adesko, Photographer, New York

Description

This intimate portrait photograph by Douglas Adesko captures a tender moment indoors as a woman braids the hair of a young child sitting on her lap. The woman wears a textured pink knitted cardigan over dark trousers and glasses, while the child is dressed in a matching pink top. Strong natural side light streams into the room, creating distinct patterns of illumination and shadow across the subjects and the pale sofa behind them. The composition highlights a quiet, domestic scene with soft textures and a warm, candid atmosphere.
