Dominic Episcopo, Photographer, New York

Description

This interior still life photograph by Dominic Episcopo captures a nostalgic 1970s aesthetic arranged on a patterned carpet surface. A cream-colored spherical Weltron 8-track stereo player dominates the left background, with a cassette inserted in the player deck. In the foreground, a stack of vintage 8-track cartridges serves as a coaster for a lowball glass filled with amber liquid and a large square ice cube. To the left, the sparkling gold headstock of an electric guitar rests among scattered cassettes. To the right, a vintage tin of Brim coffee and a turquoise glass ashtray with a smoking cigarette complete the retro tabletop scene.
