Dick Jewell, London

Description

This portrait by photographer Dick Jewell features four individuals posing dynamically within a brightly styled vintage kitchen in London. Two shirtless Black men are seated on chairs, each holding up a standing woman with outstretched arms in an acrobatic display. The women wear short-sleeved shirts and trousers, smiling toward the camera. The kitchen is decorated with retro yellow cabinetry, patterned wallpaper, a checkered floor, and period appliances. The lighting is bright and evenly distributed, highlighting the sculptural arrangement of the subjects against the domestic interior.
