Devin Yalkin, Photographer, New York

Description

This striking black and white portrait, photographed by Devin Yalkin in New York, captures an elderly man framed against a dark background. He wears a dark jacket, and strands of string lights with glowing bulbs are wrapped around his shoulders and held delicately in his hands. The high-contrast lighting accentuates the dramatic rim light on his hair and features, creating a moody and atmospheric composition. His expression is serious and intense as he gazes directly toward the camera, holding the illuminated bulbs close to his chest.
