About

A stylized illustration by Denise Hilton-campbell depicts two young children gazing down into a glass jar filled with glowing fireflies. Rendered in a fluid watercolor and ink wash technique, the composition utilizes cool purple, lilac, and indigo tones contrasted against luminous yellow accents. Silhouetted wild grasses frame the children as additional fireflies float through the night air, with warm illumination cast upward onto their faces.
