Description

A young Black child with dark curly hair is lying prone on a white bed, intently reading an open yellow book. The child wears a long-sleeved white top and rests their head on one hand while turning a page with the other. Bright, natural daylight illuminates the scene. Next to the child on the rumpled white duvet rests a pair of blue headphones. The background features a simple white wall in a sunlit indoor setting, captured with natural lighting and a shallow depth of field by photographer and director Dawn Heumann.
