Zeit Magazine David Sedaris 2026

Description

Captured from a dramatic high-angle perspective, this editorial portrait for Zeit Magazine features David Sedaris lying flat on a white marble floor at the base of a grand multi-level staircase. The stairs feature rich red carpet runners framed by dark wooden banisters and railings, creating strong geometric leading lines that draw the eye toward the center. The overhead vantage point emphasizes the architectural symmetry of the interior space. Styled for publication, the composition balances theatrical staging with clean architectural framing.
