Daniele Simonelli, Illustrator, London

Description

This vibrant digital illustration by London-based illustrator Daniele Simonelli depicts a bustling historic university campus square populated by numerous figures in period attire. In the background, classical white buildings and rolling blue mountains set a grand stage under a light sky with scattered clouds. A prominent American flag on a tall flagpole flies near a classical building while vintage automobiles and a horse-drawn carriage occupy the paved and grassy pathways. The foreground and midground feature multiple groups of people walking, reading, and conversing amidst neatly manicured green lawns and conical trees. The artwork employs a textured, graphic rendering style with a rich palette of reds, teals, blues, and warm earth tones.
