About

This monochrome photograph by Barcelona-based photographer Alba Yruela captures an overhead, close-up perspective of cracked dry earth. The sunlit surface reveals an intricate pattern of dried mud polygons separated by deep fissures across the frame. A small, sparse sprig of vegetation extends into the upper right corner, adding a subtle touch of organic detail to the barren landscape. The high-contrast black-and-white grading emphasizes the rough, weathered textures of the terrain.
