Coty Tarr, Photographer, New York

About

This interior photograph by Coty Tarr captures a moody, atmospheric scene inside a dimly lit boxing gym. Two male athletes spar inside a raised boxing ring in the background, surrounded by dark structural columns and hanging heavy bags in the foreground. Cool blue and grey tones dominate the color palette, enhanced by atmospheric haze and harsh overhead fluorescent strip lighting. The composition emphasizes the gritty, industrial texture of the training space.
