Description

A dark, moody still life composition features a pile of cracked white meringue cookies stacked inside a blue and white patterned ceramic bowl resting upon a textured grey stone slab. To the left, a white ceramic pitcher and a small green glass stand near a slender green glass bottle holding delicate green stems with fluffy seed heads. In the background, a large dark circular tray or plate leans against a shadowed wall. The low-key lighting creates dramatic highlights on the white textures and glossy ceramic surfaces while fading into a deep, dark background.
