Christine Lutz, Photographer, Istanbul

Description

This striking portrait captured by photographer Christine Lutz features a woman with voluminous curly blonde hair viewed from a low angle through shimmering water. Vibrant red and orange poppy flowers float or appear submerged near the surface, framing her face with natural color accents. The upper portion of the frame reveals a bright teal sky contrasting with the warm tones beneath the water. Her expression is calm and direct, with soft lighting highlighting her features and skin textures. The composition creates an ethereal, dreamlike atmosphere through refraction and aquatic distortion.
