Chris Gurney, Photographer, Sydney

Description

This high-angle photograph captured by Chris Gurney in Sydney portrays three basketball players engaged in a game on an outdoor blue court. The court surface features crisp white boundary lines and a large yellow circular marking near the center. Strong natural sunlight casts long shadows across the pavement, emphasizing the dynamic motion of the players. One player dribbles an orange basketball while being guarded closely by another opponent, with a third participant visible in the foreground wearing a blue tank top. The composition highlights the stark contrast between the bright athletic wear and the vibrant blue ground.
