Description

This photograph by Jeff Sciortino captures two children sitting together on a weathered wooden picnic table in a rural farm setting. A young boy with curly red hair and glasses wears a blue button-down shirt with suspenders and a red patterned bow tie, gently touching a brown hen resting on the bench beside him. Next to him, a young girl wearing a patterned head covering, denim jacket, and skirt sits with blue boots dangling, positioned near a woven basket filled with pumpkins. In the background, green fields lead toward a classic red barn and a metal windmill under a soft, warm evening sky.
