Description

This monochrome black and white photograph captures a joyful young child sitting securely in a swing at a playground, smiling broadly at the camera. The child wears casual clothing and footwear, holding firmly onto the safety bar of the swing suspended by chains. The high-angle framing looks down toward woodchip ground cover beneath the swing, surrounded by park greenery and low wooden fencing in the background. The high-contrast black and white styling emphasises the candid expression and textures of the setting. The image was created by photographer and director Marcus Smith.
