Description

This environmental portrait captured by photographer Chantal Anderson in Los Angeles depicts a Black man with long locs standing outdoors in a dry desert field. He wears an open white dress shirt under a tailored beige blazer, paired with brown trousers, and his head is bowed thoughtfully. Numerous butterflies drift through the air around him against a pale, dusty twilight sky with distant mountains visible on the horizon. The composition is bathed in soft natural evening light, creating a cinematic and surreal atmosphere.
