About

This interior illustration by Paris-based illustrator Caroline Romain-desfosses presents a vibrant domestic scene. A classic green armchair draped with a patterned red throw sits prominently in front of a window featuring a vase of yellow flowers. The surrounding walls are painted in deep blue, creating a rich contrast with the warm tones of the foreground elements. A patterned blue rug covers the floor, anchored by visible brushwork and gouache textures. The composition uses expressive color blocks and painterly brushstrokes to establish a lively yet intimate domestic atmosphere.
