Description

This vibrant gouache illustration by Paris-based illustrator Caroline Romain-desfosses depicts a bouquet of bold pink flowers with green stems and leaves against a dark blue patterned backdrop. The central floral composition is framed by an ornate rectangular border featuring repeating orange and yellow tile motifs set against a purple and blue lattice. The artwork displays flat, opaque colour application with clean brushwork characteristic of traditional hand-painted illustration. The piece is presented on a plain off-white surface, highlighting the rich saturation and meticulous detail of the decorative border.
