Carlo Van De Roer, Photographer, New York

Description

This extreme close-up photograph by Carlo Van De Roer captures an English bulldog caught mid-shake against a dark background. Fine water droplets scatter dynamically through the air around the dog's head and wrinkled white and brown fur. The tight framing emphasizes the texture of the animal's coat, wet snout, and slightly exposed teeth. The lighting creates subtle highlights on the droplets and facial contours while keeping the background deeply shadowed.
