Description

This still life composition features a pale, elongated gourd resting upright on a pale grey surface against a matching background. A thin brass wire loops around the narrow section of the gourd and extends vertically upward, supporting a small slice of orange carrot at its tip. A long, drooping stem of purple wisteria hangs gracefully from the carrot apex, curving downward with numerous small blossoms. The entire vertical frame is bordered by a distinct yellow margin.
