Camille De Cussac, Illustrator, Paris

About

This playful graphic illustration by Camille De Cussac depicts a towering multi-layered sandwich resembling a towering building, scaled by numerous tiny figures and brides climbing its sides. The entire scene is set against a deep navy blue textured background, with bright pops of red, pink, white, and green marking the ingredients and clothing of the figures. A small yellow banner unfurls at the top near a pair of figures standing on the uppermost crust. The whimsical composition uses flat colors and bold outlines characteristic of modern editorial illustration.
