Description
This botanical photograph by Paris-based photographer Lorenzo Del Francia features vivid blue delphinium flowers partially encased within clear blocks of melting ice. The floral arrangement rests on a reflective white surface, casting soft shadows to the right. Water droplets and small puddles surround the base of the ice, suggesting a natural thawing process. The composition highlights the sharp contrast between the delicate blue petals and the transparent, fractured texture of the ice. Natural light illuminates the scene from the side, accentuating the translucent qualities of both the botanical elements and the frozen water.
