Description

This interior photograph by Bjorn Wallander features a suspended hanging daybed as the central furniture piece within a modern room. The daybed is supported by thick braided ropes attached to the ceiling and hangs above a light-textured rug. A dark, textured abstract painting hangs on the wood-slat wall to the left, while large floor-to-ceiling windows provide a clear view of water and distant land in the background. A small black side table holding a glass and a thin lamp sits beside the window. Natural light filters softly into the space, highlighting the rich dark tones of the daybed cushion and pillows against the neutral background textures.
