Description

This warm and textured illustration by Beya Rebai depicts a family gathering for an outdoor dinner beside a river at night. A group of five people, including an infant and an older woman, are seated around a checkered tablecloth laden with food and lit candles. The riverbank setting is illuminated by glowing string lights overhead and the warm lights of apartment buildings and a bridge across the water. A brown dog sits patiently nearby on the ground. The piece features a rich palette of deep blues, warm yellows, and soft greens, executed with textured brushwork and visible gouache-like layering.
