About

Captured by photographer Bertram Knight, this intimate portrait shows a woman and a young child seated comfortably on a plush cream-colored sofa. The woman wears a white ribbed short-sleeved top and taupe lounge pants, smiling gently as she looks down. The child sits beside her holding a small dark object, wearing mustard-yellow pants with bare feet. Several decorative pillows, including a patterned one with a yellow fruit motif, are arranged on the sofa behind them. The warm indoor lighting highlights the cozy, natural atmosphere of the domestic interior scene.
