About

This photograph by Bastian Thiery captures the exterior of a residential apartment building in Berlin during late afternoon. The facade features concrete balconies adorned with potted plants and an umbrella, illuminated by warm sunlight casting strong shadows. In the foreground, parked cars and a slender, leafless tree stand behind a metal construction fence, adding urban texture to the composition. The color palette is dominated by warm ochre and brown building tones contrasted with the muted grey of the vehicles. The natural lighting emphasizes the textural details of the plaster and concrete architecture.
