Ben Pier, Photographer, New York

Description

A barefoot young woman wearing a white dress stands on a wet asphalt street in New York, holding a large black dog by a leash. Parked cars line both sides of the roadway, and traditional brick apartment buildings form the urban backdrop under an overcast sky. The street surface reflects ambient light, creating a candid documentary atmosphere with natural, slightly muted tones. Captured by photographer Ben Pier, the composition focuses on the casual interaction between the subject and the large animal against the cityscape.
