About

Captured by photographer Gary Copeland in Los Angeles, this sports photograph features a black male basketball player in his 20s dribbling a basketball across an indoor wooden court. The subject is in motion, wearing a bright red sleeveless tank top, dark athletic shorts with red accents, and vibrant orange sneakers. His arms display visible tattoos, and he holds the basketball tightly against his body while navigating the court lines. The gymnasium background features polished hardwood flooring with dark boundary markings and distant, softly lit bleachers. The lighting style highlights the action of the athlete while casting soft shadows on the floor.
