Balazs Gardi, Photographer, Los Angeles

Description

This photograph by Balazs Gardi captures a scenic river landscape featuring a traditional multi-tiered pagoda rising behind the waterfront. A small motorboat cuts across the turbid, ochre-toned waters of the river in the middle ground. In the background, low-rise buildings and lush green trees line the far bank beneath an overcast, muted sky. The composition is deliberately framed through soft, out-of-focus purple flowers in the immediate foreground, creating a natural vignette and a sense of depth. Natural ambient lighting casts even tones across the entire scene, highlighting the architectural details of the pagoda and the textures of the passing boat.
