Asger Carlsen, Photographer, New York

About

This black and white photographic print by Asger Carlsen features a nude figure positioned within a domestic interior space. The monochrome composition displays surreal, distorted forms scattered across the carpeted floor alongside conventional furniture including chairs and a table. The lighting is direct and even, casting soft shadows across the room and highlighting the unusual sculptural elements placed in the foreground. Framed simply in white, the piece presents a staged interior scene captured with sharp focus and high contrast.
