About

This interior photograph by Berlin-based photographer Bastian Thiery presents a thoughtfully arranged room with dark walls and polished wooden floors. A prominent vertical framed painting of a figure stands on a wooden easel centrally in the room, while a larger horizontal painting in an ornate gold frame hangs above a built-in wooden bookshelf packed with books and objects. To the left, the metallic rail and patterned blue blanket of a bed frame extend into the foreground. The lighting creates a moody, ambient atmosphere highlighting the textures of the wood, textiles, and framed artworks.
