Description

This detailed vertical illustration by New York-based illustrator Armando Veve is centered on a playing card against a dark background. The central artwork depicts a surreal mechanical creature resembling a metronome with wooden textures, feathered wings, and small paw feet at the base. A slender rod extends upward from the metronome body, culminating in a stylized lion head featuring a single prominent eye and bared teeth. Internal gears are faintly visible through a cutaway window on the triangular structure, while a winding key protrudes from the side. The overall composition blends elements of fantasy and meticulous draftsmanship with fine ink and watercolor techniques.
