Armando Veve, Illustrator, New York

Description

This detailed illustration by Armando Veve is set on the face of an ace of clubs playing card against a stark black background. The central artwork depicts a surreal creature blending insect and botanical features, possessing long delicate antennae, jointed legs, and a body formed from green veined leaves. The subtle shading and fine line work give the piece a classical engraving quality. The crisp white surface of the card contrasts sharply with the deep void surrounding it, creating a striking focal point.
