This dynamic sports photograph captures an athlete mid-air while executing a high jump over the crossbar. Photographed from a low angle against a bright sky filled with scattered white clouds, the subject's form is shown clearly in silhouette and backlighting. The athlete wears athletic apparel and spiked track shoes, with hair flowing backward during the clearance. The composition highlights the peak of the athletic motion against the open sky.
