About

This landscape photograph by Andy Hatton captures an empty striped grass soccer field nestled below a dense line of dark forest trees. The pitch features alternating light and dark green mowing patterns with white goalposts positioned at either end. Above the treeline, a heavy overcast sunset sky casts a muted, atmospheric light over the entire scene. The composition emphasizes the quiet isolation of the sports ground framed by natural woodland. The natural lighting and moody color palette enhance the somber, cinematic atmosphere of the setting.
