Andrew Cowen, Photographer, Sydney

Description

This photograph by Andrew Cowen captures an elevated perspective of a wide pedestrian thoroughfare in Sydney. The urban canyon is formed by modern multi-story buildings and a multi-level parking structure flanking the paved walkway. Rows of slender modern lampposts and young trees line the pedestrian corridor, casting soft morning shadows across the pavement. Several people are visible walking along the path, creating a sense of scale within the commercial district. The natural daylight illuminates the architectural facades and highlights the clean lines of the street design.
