Ancestry Lucy 2026

About

This animated video for the Ancestry project titled Lucy showcases a digital genealogy search interface overlaid with vintage historical documents, census records, and archival black-and-white family photographs. The sequence transitions smoothly through historical search queries, revealing census forms and sepia-toned portraits of ancestors. Clean modern interface elements contrast with aged paper textures and handwritten ledger entries, creating a reflective and narrative tone. Muted historical colour grading and soft parchment textures emphasise the archival theme.
