Ana Cuba, Photographer, London

Description

This powerful portrait by photographer Ana Cuba captures a sweaty woman in athletic wear outdoors in the rain. She stands with her hands on her hips, wearing a light blue sports bra and matching leggings while droplets of water streak across the frame and glisten on her skin and curly hair. The low-angle perspective creates an imposing, heroic stance, framed by architectural elements and glass with visible reflections and rain streaks. Natural diffused lighting highlights her physique and the damp atmosphere of the scene.
