About

This vertical gouache illustration by Adelaide-based illustrator Alice Lindstrom depicts a surreal, dreamlike scene in soft pink and green tones. In the center, a female profile sits atop a pink cart with green wheels, her hair flowing backwards. An assortment of whimsical toys overflows from her head, including a red and green ball, a pink baby doll, a red teddy bear, a white unicorn, and a grey bird. A severed hand reaches from the right edge to pull the cart forward. The painted texture shows visible brushstrokes and washes of pink across the paper background.
