Alice Lindstrom, Illustrator, Adelaide

About

This portrait illustration by Adelaide-based illustrator Alice Lindstrom depicts a young child seated upright on a small white chair. The subject wears a vivid pink long-sleeved dress with ruffled shoulders and light purple stockings. She is positioned centrally against a backdrop featuring large muted blue cabinetry with paneled doors and a packed bookshelf displaying assorted colorful spines. Below, a richly detailed geometric patterned rug in shades of red, blue, and black grounds the composition. The entire piece is rendered in a distinct paper collage style with visible cut-paper textures, geometric facets, and carefully layered shapes.
