About

This surreal digital collage by London illustrator Alexandra Gallagher features a densely layered composition centred around a coiled pink snake winding through large white peonies and colorful blossoms. Several yellow and black small birds perch among the flora alongside butterflies, while translucent green dot patterns overlay parts of the upper and lower sections. The central botanical assemblage floats above a traditional landscape painting showing figures by a river and rolling hills under a faint rainbow sky. The rich color palette combines pastel pinks, deep greens, and earthen browns with a textured, dreamlike finish.
