About

This vertical portrait features a young Black man and an elderly white woman standing side by side outdoors. The man wears a matching brown denim jacket and trousers with brown shoes, and has braided hair. The elderly woman wears a blue patterned house dress over trousers and a blue cardigan, with her hand gently resting on the man's arm. They stand against a vertical corrugated green metal wall above a dark asphalt ground surface. The soft natural lighting casts minimal shadows, creating a candid observational aesthetic captured by photographer Alexandra Cepeda.
