Alessandro Simonetti, Photographer, New York

Description

This photograph by Alessandro Simonetti captures a close-up perspective of a smartphone held securely in a hand behind a dark chain-link fence. The screen of the device glows with a cool blue hue, reflecting the geometric pattern of the wire mesh. The surrounding environment is heavily blurred, creating a shallow depth of field filled with warm circular bokeh lights. A charging cable extends downwards from the base of the phone into the lower frame. The composition uses foreground obstruction and out-of-focus elements to create an intimate, tactile atmosphere.
